Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a skilled Mold Maker to join our team on 1st shift 7:00A-3:30P Monday - Friday!

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing models and prototypes of new and existing products; build, repair, provide preventative maintenance and/or modify tools and molds needed to produce these products. Provide machining support for various repairs and projects. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform finish work on plastic injection molds.
  • Diagnose, isolate malfunctions, and perform simple repairs to molds and small tooling associated with those molds. Manufacture new mold components for mold repairs.
  • Examine and modify molds as required. 
  • Provide support for commissioning of new molds.
  • Perform changeovers of inserts in molds for production.
  • Ability to use all shop equipment, including Sinker EDM machine, grinders, Mill, Lathe, CNC mill (manual G-Code writing and entry).
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment including Digital Caliper, micrometer, optical comparator. 
  • Ability to complete bench work, finishing work, polishing, media blasting. 
  • Ensure all mold/machinery PMs are completed effectively, and efficiently (on-time).
  • Ability to work from blueprints with a high level of detail.
  • Utilize CMMS as required in the completion of tasks. 
  • Support as needed in Molding department.
  • Support various other machining tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Requirements:
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Must have completed training in related skill area.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a related role with experience in Mold Maker, Tool maker, Tool Room Machinist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage own work tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate expectations to others
  • Proven skill and ability in molding, machining, tool making
  • Proven skills in maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing Molds
  • Knowledge of CMMS
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to train others
  • Excellent time Management skills

Pay Range: $26.00 - $38.50 per hour
Pay is dependent on multiple factors, including job related knowledge, skills and experience.
