Description
We are currently accepting applications for Automation Manager in our New Richmond, Wisconsin location.

The Automation Manager is responsible for leading the Automation team in the design and build of custom automated equipment

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the automation team in the design and build of custom automated equipment
  • Project manage automation design and builds and provide updates to internal stakeholders
  • Proactively participate in feasibility testing for prospective projects
  • Provide automation cost estimates as requested
  • Responsible for alignment of design/build costs to project budget
  • Provide automation SME support across organization
  • Effectively communicate solutions to the sales team and support as needed in the creation of customer proposals
  • Maintain an awareness of new and cutting-edge technologies available to utilize in support of customer needs
  • Collaborate with design group on projects to ensure highest possibility of project success
  • Participate in risk assessments and identify mitigation for potential customer solutions
  • Provide mentoring and direction to team while leading by example
  • Foster a collaborative environment where all members of the team are contributing, fulfilled, and appreciate the attention to detail required to be successful
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Associates degree and 5 years for relevant experience with the following:
  • Minimum (5) years of automation mechanical design and build experience
  • Minimum (5) years of automation control system design and build experience
  • Automation programming experience highly preferred including HMI, PLC, vision systems, robots
  • Medical device industry experience ISO13485 highly preferred
  • Injection molding industry experience highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD software
  • High level of communication skills including listening, verbal, and written
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment/operator requirements
  • High level of integrity and ethics that aligns with Isometric Core Values
  • Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality
  • High level proficiency with MS Office Suites
