Nissha Medical Technologies is seeking for 3rd Shift (9:30pm-6am, Sun-Thurs) anufacturing Team Members in Norwalk, OH!

Summary
Manufacture and prepare products for shipment across various product areas.


Essential Job Duties

  • Be familiar with all operations in the department.
  • Follow instructions of supervisor and group leader.
  • Performs production requirements on a variety of products.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must produce products to established quality standards within all compliance regulations.
  • Prepare job cards, material requisitions and work orders accurately and legibly meeting all compliance regulations for Good Documentation Practices.
  • Ability to read work orders and bills of material.
  • Ability to work with small tools and handle small components.
  • Work and cooperate with others.
  • Know department regulations. 
  • Follow and produce product to manufacturing procedures.
  • Responsible for the quality of work produced.
  • Visually inspect parts and use all types of measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, vision systems, etc.)
  • Occasionally aid in the training of other employees.
  • Keep work area clean.
  • Responsible for returning work orders, prints, tools and materials to authorized personnel and departments.
  • Follow all safety and PPE regulations
  • Work overtime as needed in accordance with contractual agreement
  • Ensure compliance with the current Health & Safety rules and guidelines.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is observed at all times.
  • Required to meet individual and departmental productivity, scrap and 5S requirements within the department.
  • Be actively involved in and promote an environment of continuous improvement, flexibility and teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Basic reading, math, and direction following skills.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to work in constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate all required production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn and understand SPC data and control limits.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. 75-100%
  • Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Also includes finger dexterity. 75-100%
  • Bending: Stooping, crouching, full back and leg flexibility. 50-75%
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 0-25%
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 75-100%
  • Lifting: Picking up and movement of objects. May involve carrying as well. 50-75%
  • Climbing: Ascending or descending using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. 0-25%
  • Vision: Ability to see and recognize detail. (Corrected or uncorrected.) 75-100%
  • Repetitive Motion: Recurring movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 75-100%
  • Pushing/Pulling: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to provoke movement, or to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. 50-75%
  • Twisting: Moving in a contorted motion, usually involving the back, and usually repeatedly. 75-100%
  • Sitting: Remaining seated for a period of time, in one position. 0-25%
Pay:
$18.13 per hour / $1.00 per hour shift premium for 3rd Shift
