Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Material Clerk to join our Colorado Springs Stores Team!
This is an entry-level, fast-paced environment position that requires excellent attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to organize and prioritize. The primary function of this position is to coordinate the delivery of component parts necessary to sustain manufacturing operations.

The established Compensation for this position will be $15.50 per hour (paid on a weekly basis).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (other duties may be assigned)

• Work with Material Handlers to: 
  • Respond to all manufacturing material requests to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, reducing and eliminating production stoppages from material stock outs
  • Satisfy production needs by picking materials from racks, cabinets, and/or shelving units by following order sheets and requisitions, and stage in appropriate area.
  • Restock inventory locations and work to rightsize inventory quantities
  • Physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count
• Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting team members in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
• Cross train in receiving responsibilities to cover as needed
• Operate forklift as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area and assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
• Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met.
• Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance of NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
• Regular attendance
• Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Must be willing to obtain forklift certification
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required with database management experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Mathematical skills needed to measure and count products
