Nissha is seeking a Full-Time Mold Maker for 1st Shift Monday-Friday!

Starting at $26 per hour!

Nissha Medical Technologies (previously Graphic Controls) is a growing Buffalo based Company specializing in printed products for the gaming, medical, and recording supply markets. A global leader in these areas, Nissha is expanding into new markets and is looking for qualified candidates to grow with our Company.

Summary:
Responsible for providing models and prototypes of new and existing products; build, repair, provide preventative maintenance and/or modify tools and molds needed to produce these products.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Complete construction/special projects as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
  • Maintain and monitor Siemens system (heating and AC).
  • Contribute to department budget development and expense controls.
  • Coordinate the purchase of facility and janitorial supplies.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor services, managing expenses and researching and selecting vendors based on service and pricing information. 
  • Ensure completion of scheduled PM building maintenance tasks through completion of individual tasks and the delegation of tasks to lower level Technicians.
  • Provide guidance and training to Facility Technician B’s and C’s, delegating and managing the completion of tasks as required.
  • Create, manage, and maintain building maintenance projects and schedules in accordance with tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all building/facility PMs are completed effectively, and efficiently (on-time)
  • Perform major building PM tasks including the repair and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment (HVAC, electrical, Siemens system, etc.).
  • Utilize CMMS as required in the completion of tasks.
  • Perform various facility upgrades.
  • Manage facility aesthetic initiatives and tasks.
  • Recommend building/facility projects, upgrades, solutions, etc. to Management as observed.
  • Support other department projects as needed (Engineering and Maintenance).
  • Complete snow removal and grounds maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Work with Company departments to set up janitorial/maintenance programs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Must have completed training in related skill area (Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, construction, etc.)
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a related role with experience managing projects and others

  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks to others
  • Ability to train others
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems and equipment
  • Excellent time Management skills

Physical Requirements:

Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. 75-100%

Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands. Also includes finger dexterity. 50-75%

Bending: Stooping, crouching, full back and leg flexibility. 50-75%

Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 50-75%

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 50-75%

Lifting: Picking up and movement of objects. May involve carrying as well. 50-75%

Climbing: Ascending or descending using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. 50-75%

Vision: Ability to see and recognize detail. (Corrected or uncorrected.) 75-100%

Repetitive Motion: Recurring movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 25-50%

Pushing/Pulling: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to provoke movement, or to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. 50-75%

Twisting: Moving in a contorted motion, usually involving the back, and usually repeatedly. 25-50%

Sitting: Remaining seated for a period of time, in one position. 0-25%
