Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for an Operator to join our Colorado Springs Team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up Injection Molding machines, general maintenance and operation, inspection of molded parts, and other duties as assigned which may include packaging final devices and shipping finished products.
This is a full-time 2nd Shift position. Working hours will be Monday - Thursday from 4:30pm-3:00am.
The established Compensation for this position will be a base rate of $15.00 per hour plus an additional $0.75/hour for Night Shift Differential (paid on a weekly basis).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR’s) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
- Demonstrate knowledge and act in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
- Thoroughly read and follow all job sheets, production drawings, MAI’s and R&D sample assemblies.
- Install molds and adjust controls on Mold Machines.
- Perform daily inspections on equipment and molding tools as instructed by the Molding Lead or designee.
- Perform assigned jobs as required by Manufacturing Assembly Instructions.
- Perform on-line inspection and testing to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Ensure proper placement of parts in molds.
- Perform trouble shooting and recommend solutions to problems such as short shots, blow outs, flash, etc.
- Responsible for the quality of the product produced
- Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
- Regular attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned which may include, but is not limited to:
Shipping & Packaging- Package finished products in appropriate containers / boxes with adequate packing materials
- Create and print product labels for products being shipped.
- Interface regularly with Customer Service, Engineering, Scheduling, Production and Administrative personnel regarding shipments, priorities and logistical issues.
- Become familiar with Shipping software such as UPS / FedEx.
- Labeling products with a description of their contents, sealing containers with tape and completing documentation in accordance with NMT and customer requirements.
- Performing final inspection and counts of items to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Packaging finished goods into bags, boxes or crates and then moving them to the Shipping area for delivery.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience with Injection Molding and/or operating manufacturing machines is preferred.
- Previous experience in Shipping and/or Packaging is a plus.
- The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- The ability to read and comprehend written instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
- The ability to perform writing tasks such as recording log entries, lot numbers and dates.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
