Description
Manage day-to-day Human Resources Department.  Assists VP of Global HR as requested in designing, implementing, and administering programs, personnel policies and practices that enable NMT to acquire, retain, and motivate people and maintain a positive, productive work environment.  Administration of benefit programs, Employee Relations and Recruitment.  Be responsive to needs of people who contact HR and establish a customer service atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and counsel in all areas of HR service with primary emphasis on selection, employee relations, benefit administration, performance appraisal, and pay administration
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions in collaboration with managers and NMT Global Talent Acquisition and Development Manager.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Provide leadership in the analysis, design, and implementation of key projects to include - but not limited to - performance appraisals, design of compensation programs, involvement strategies and benefit programs.  Strong emphasis on visibility and responsiveness to workforce.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and promote career growth.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues professionally and confidentially, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing programs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop workforce planning strategies and talent management initiatives.
  • Monitor all personnel activities to ensure compliance with Equal Employment laws and regulations
  • Provide leadership and direction toward training and individual development activities.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree required
  • Minimum 5-year Human Resources experience with Generalist background, preferred.
  • Experience that supports the ability to effectively define people problems, suggest solutions, and provide leadership in designing and implementing a systematic process to address key HR functions
  • Previous management experience preferred
