Job Summary
The Value Stream Manager is responsible for meeting business commitments for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. The position leads tactical decision making and facilitates process improvements.
Essential Job Functions
1. Lead the day-to-day management of people and process.
2. Enforce, promote, monitor and develop a safe work environment.
3. Ensures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement and support a lean culture of processes.
4. Develop, implement, and sustain standard work for manufacturing, prepress, safety, training and EHS personnel.
5. Responsible for the communication of daily manufacturing performance using visual management (Gemba walks) and maintaining the value stream board containing departmental KPIs, root cause problem identification and accountability / corrective actions.
6. Manage and coach Value Stream team (direct staff & support functions) in an accountable manner for meeting operational goals and objectives.
7. Hire, develop, and manage manufacturing supervisors to achieve a high performing supervisory staff / culture that is engaged and focused on improvement.
8. All other duties assigned.

Pay is dependent on multiple factors, including job related knowledge, skills and experience.

Requirements
- Degree in business management and/or 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Leadership and production planning.
- Previous ERP experience.
- Proven track record leading & implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
