Job Summary
Support the legal team in various tasks including legal research, contract management, and administrative duties. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in corporate law and M&A.
This is an in-person internship. You will be required to work at our Buffalo, NY office.
Essential Job Functions
1. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct research on various legal issues relevant to our industry, including regulatory compliance, intellectual property, contracts, and employment law.
2. Contract Management: Assist with the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Ensure that contracts adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
3. Document Review and Organization: Support the legal team in reviewing and organizing legal documents, including contracts and corporate records. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in electronic databases.
4. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal department.

Pay is dependent on year of schooling.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled at an accredited law school
- Strong academic record with coursework in relevant legal areas such as contracts, corporate law, and legal research
- Critical thinking skills to identify legal issues and develop creative solutions
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and adherence to professional codes of conduct
