Description
Nissha Medical Technologies is excited to hire for an Inside Sales Representative in our Buffalo, NY headquarters. This position works with and supports the designated Regional Sales Manager to retain and grow business within the assigned territory in order to maximize revenues and grow profitability through aggressive outbound sales efforts.
Essential Job Functions
1. Conduct outbound sales by the phone, internet, email, and additional internal tools to solicit new business from new and existing ‘B-level’ customers within the assigned target markets and in keeping with daily goals.
2. Make phone calls to customers and prospects, meeting set expectations.
3. Travel as required to customer sites within assigned territory to support sales initiatives and the Territory Manager.
4. Work with other Sales Associates and Territory Managers to develop sales strategies based on information gained from customers and market research; making appropriate suggestions to the budgeting and other processes.
5. Identify emerging needs and opportunities in the marketplace through contact with current customers, following up on leads, and gathering competitor information, making suggestions to the Territory Manager as appropriate.
6. Identify and perform necessary research on potential new customers in order to identify selling and pricing strategies to solicit new sales.
7. Effectively communicate with customers using product and Company knowledge to gain business by meeting the customer’s needs, while maintaining Company objectives, negotiating and making recommendations when necessary and responding promptly to customer leads and inquiries.
8. Complete sales quotes, determining discount rates, etc. based on customer needs/qualifications and Company requirements/offerings.
9. Aggressively work toward closing opportunities that are assigned to you by the estimated close date. Move opportunities through pipeline as quickly as possible.
10. Maintain rolling account information within the CRM system and through self-determined tracking methods.
11. Utilize the CRM system as required within the sales process, making call summary entries after each customer call, and updating potential opportunities and targets with potential close dates, etc.
12. Communicate with other departments when needed regarding order placement, customer complaints, product information, etc.
13. Make suggestions for process improvements, etc. as identified.
14. Communicate with Customer Service as needed regarding customer needs, concerns, etc.
15. Maintain and update product and Company knowledge as needed to effectively and accurately answer customer inquiries.
16. Represent Nissha Medical Technologies, in a professional manner with internal team members and externally with customers and prospects.
17. Other duties as assigned.
18. Periodic Travel.

Requirements
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred (in related field)
- Minimum 1-year sales experience or 2 years customer service experience
