Job Summary
The Supply Chain intern will work closely with Material Planners / Buyers to identify to execute strategic projects. They will utilize Excel and Oracle to create spreadsheets and standardized reports. They will interact with cross-functional teams including site Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales.
This is an in-person internship. You will be required to work at our Buffalo, NY office.
Essential Job Functions
1. Assist in Supplier Surveys e.g., Lead-times, Supplier Categorization, ASL updates.
2. Assist with planning process improvement (ex: molding.)
3. Help create and document value stream mapping of the supply chain process.
4. Assist with the creation and updating of work instructions.
5. Help manage and adjust planning and buying parameters.
6. Other tasks assigned by the Director of Supply Chain.
Requirements
Pay is dependent on year of schooling.

Requirements
- The candidate should be currently enrolled or a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Candidate needs to have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to integrate activities into various systems
- Ability to calculate figures and analyze data
- Experience working effectively within and without formal lines of authority to accomplish goals
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, and Project
- Strong communication and influence attributes, and skills with economic cost/benefit analysis
