Job Summary
Data Analysis and development of tools (via MS Excel or other), to support NMT’s CDMO business units incoming new product development process. Working directly with the New Product Development Manager and staff to evaluate past and present opportunities and proposals to support the data value stream and workflows needed to be more successful and provide a more continuative process aimed at growing sales and project pipelines.
This is an in-person internship. You will be required to work at our Buffalo, NY office.
Essential Job Functions
1. Understand and navigate current pipeline and proposal data.
2. Review of historical data information and trends based on various new business opportunities.
3. Work with engineering and costing teams to develop tools and links via data tables to improve process efficiency and consistency across proposal generation.
4. Consolidation and development of data streams and associated tools.
5. Consolidate global data streams for the new business proposal.
6. All other duties as assigned.

Pay is dependent on year of schooling.

Requirements
- Student currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in either an engineering program or business related program with a level of technical understanding/capabilities
- Must be in good academic standing
- Requires a knowledge of excel or other form of similar template (linking of worksheets, pulling data from cells and other worksheets, understanding and formulation of V-Lookups and other comprehensive abilities within excel capabilities)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Self-Motivated
- Excellent project/program management skills
- Organized and detail orientated
- Strong problem solving to make informed decisions
- Willingness to learn, be mentored and improve by accepting candid feedback
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate skill level
- Capable of working and performing in a team environment
