Description

Buyer II is responsible for purchase order management and internal and external customer support to ensure the sourcing process is efficient and meets NMT standards and objectives. Highly adaptable, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to work with multiple requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and with the expertise necessary for success in this role.

It assists in achieving the best Quality-Service-Price ratio of purchases, management of relationships with suppliers, and generation of indicators for measuring service and compliance with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and determine material requirements (MRP).
  • Create material purchase orders through ORACLE (ERP).
  • Place and track purchase orders from suppliers.
  • Track inventory levels in the warehouse, transits, and Kanban.
  • Manage Kanban with suppliers.
  • Look for the best Quality-Service-Price ratio among the supplier options.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery time with suppliers based on NMT's needs.
  • Develop maintain and share monitoring indicators with suppliers.
  • Assists the reception of materials as needed.
  • Assume goals, objectives, and projects that contribute to the development of NMT.
  • Meets with suppliers to follow up on the on-time delivery of materials.
  • Maintains open and constant communication with suppliers.
  • It maintains documentation in accordance with the NMT Quality system.
  • Manage the logistics of delivering materials from the supplier to NMT.
  • Supports development of new projects as much as required by the business.
  • Maintains material purchase management in accordance with the SOP.
  • Support internal and external audits.

 

Minimun qualificatios:

  • Advanced English
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related careers.
  • Advanced knowledge of the supply chain
  • Data analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
