It's an exciting time to join our team, and we're hiring for a full-time Associate Accountant at our New Richmond, WI location. This role will primarily focus on accounts payable and general ledger activities, while also serving as a backup for accounts receivable. The hours for this position are during core business hours, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals 
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting
General Ledger (GL):
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
Other Duties:
  • Assist with expense report processing and employee reimbursements
  • Assist with coding and processing of company credit cards
  • Back up Accounts Payable
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NewSuite, SAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
