Description

Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Supplier Control & Regulatory Compliance Intern to join our Supply Chain Team. This position will be responsible for supporting the transfer and requalification of data for over 300+ suppliers into a new global format. This role will assist in harmonizing supplier-related quality management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining supplier documentation.

The intern will also play a key role in Material Compliance, collecting and organizing documentation related to regulations such as REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, and PFAS, ensuring that the required information is updated and readily available for the customers.

This is a part-time TEMPORARY position working up to 29 hours per week and lasting approx. 3-4 months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met.
  • Assist in the transfer and requalification of supplier data into the new global supplier control format - data for over 300 suppliers
  • Assist in the implementation and harmonization of forms and WI.
  • Collect and verify regulatory data required by customers (e.g., REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS).
  • Actively monitor suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of required data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure supplier documentation aligns with global quality standards.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation according to Quality Management System requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of data.
  • Basic knowledge of supplier quality management and regulatory compliance (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently and complete work on schedule.
  • Follow directions while displaying cooperative and positive behavior with co-workers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources.
The established Compensation for this position will be $18.00 per hour (paid on a weekly basis).
