Description

Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Maintenance Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs! This position will support maintenance and management in completing tasks designed to reduce downtime, costs and safety issues. The Maintenance Associate will work directly with the Maintenance Technician to complete preventative maintenance, repair and service equipment, and improve maintenance response and repair time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (other duties may be assigned)

  • Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
  • Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures that building and grounds are consistently in good repair and free of hazards.
  • Performs general maintenance and repair of the building to include light bulb changes, general plumbing repair, etc.
  • Responds and schedules maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Responds to safety concerns including snow and ice removal as necessary.
  • Responsible for the performance of preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment including pneumatic tools, electrical, plumbing, Ultra Violet Light systems and other equipment as assigned. This may include performing minor repairs.
  • Uses appropriate hand and power tools in a safe manner.
  • Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment.
  • Maintains and models excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Regular attendance is required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Previous knowledge of LOTO procedures is required.
  • Experience identifying and operating basic hand tools.
  • Previous Electrical experience is highly desired.
  • Previous experience in a facilities and/or mechanical maintenance role is preferred.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • The ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries, lot numbers and dates.
  • The ability to Perform basic computer entry skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong time management skills.
The established Compensation for this position will be $17.00 to $20.00 per hour (paid on a weekly basis) depending on qualifications and experience..
